APPLY FOR SEAT ON CITY COUNCIL 

The Marathon City Council is accepting applications from residents interested in filling the vacant seat on the dais.  To fill out an application Click here.  The applications are due by noon on Wednesday, January 19th to the Marathon City Clerk and can be emailed to clavierd@ci.marathon.fl.us.

The Council will meet on Monday, January 24th at noon at City Hall in a special call meeting to consider the applicants.  They will, by majority vote, fill the vacancy created when Trevor Wofsey resigned late last week. According to the City’s charter, the Council has until early February to fill the vacant seat on the dais and that person will serve until the next regularly scheduled election in November 2022.
