Executive Session Notice
Notice is hereby given that the City Council consisting of Mayor Luis Gonzalez, Vice-Mayor Robyn Still and Councilmembers Landry, Matlock and Smith, City Manager George Garrett, Alexandra Heller, City Attorney Steve Williams, and Special Counsel Mike Burke with Hudson Gill via Zoom will meet in an Attorney-Client Session, pursuant to Section 286.11 (8), Florida Statutes to discuss the following case:
Rodney Shands vs. City of Marathon, a Florida Municipality; Monroe County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida;; Case No. 3D21-1987; Lower Tribunal No. 07-99-M pending in the Third District Court of Appeal in and For The State of Florida.
The session will be held on May 23, 2023 at 5:00pm at the Marathon City Government Offices, 9805 Overseas Highway, Marathon, Florida. The session is expected to last thirty minutes and a court reporter will be present.
All interested persons are invited to attend the meeting. Please note that more than one Marathon City Council/Board/Committee member may participate in the meeting.
