The Marathon City Council has decided in a 3-2 vote to close all public boat ramps within the City of Marathon except the 33rd Street Ramp effective 12:01 a.m.  Tuesday, July 28 – 11:59 p.m. Thursday, July 30.  During that time, the 33rd Street Ramp will be open to Marathon locals and guests only.  Proof of residency from a Marathon address or receipt of stay from a hotel/licensed vacation rental will be required to use the Ramp.
