Periodic Closures to the Coco Plum Bridge
Beginning Friday November 18th through December 12th, motorists are advised to plan for occasional but complete closure of the Coco Plum Bridge in the City of Marathon. The contractor will begin demolition of the lane closest to the walking trail, East side, followed by the installation of the new beams. This process will be repeated on the West side of the bridge once the East side beams are replaced. Closures are expected to last 15-30 minutes at a time during these periods, and residents are advised to consider additional time to leave the Coco Plum area during these periods to account for the possible delay. Closures are required, while the beams are removed and replaced via a crane, to protect the public.
