Historic Preservation Master Plan

Develop a Historic Resource Master Plan with information about the City of Marathon’s historically significant properties and sites at the local, state, and national levels. The plan will identify potential or existing threats to sites, provide recommendations on proposed districts, serial listings, and individual listings for nominations to the local, state, or national historic registries, and will include a case study for threats, risks, documentation, and rehabilitation of a selected representative site. The plan will also identify incentives for homeowners and businesses to encourage their participation in historic preservation.
